About Us

Island Mind TT is a private counselling and psychological practice based in Trinidad and Tobago, founded by Jean-Luc Borel, MSc, Counselling Psychologist. The practice provides professional, confidential, and evidence-based therapy services for individuals, couples, and families seeking support with emotional, relational, and mental health concerns.Jean-Luc holds a Master of Science in Counselling Psychology (with Distinction) from The University of the West Indies and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Special), Upper Second Class Honours. With over seven years of clinical experience, he has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples across diverse settings in Trinidad and Tobago and the region.

Island Mind TT offers both online and in-person counselling services, making mental health support accessible throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
